How to make Sphere/GLOBE in Photoshop





In this tutorial, I used some of the basic techniques in Photoshop such as Layer Styles, Blending, Filtering.

Oil Painting



These photos are made from Digital Oil Painting:




This picture is a Panoramic view of a SUNRISE.







This is my classmates Oil Portrait (Kim).






This is my classmates Oil Portrait (Roshin).



I made this Digital painting because I find it more artistic than usual pictures taken from digital camera. These is my new favorite hobby right now, making photos into more look like a manual paint.

I hope I could make a tutorial on this(as soon as possible).

How to make Ying Yang in Photoshop














In this video, I have shorten the tutorial due to Youtube time limit. I assumed that the viewers had had already knowledge about using Pen Tool (this is where I cut the Scene while doing the division thing of the circle.
I used some Layer Styles, Marquee Tool, Pen Tool and etc.

1. Create new file and set background to BLACK






2. Create new Layer
3.Grab you Elliptical Marquee Tool






4. Hold Shift key and Drag to create smooth circle.






5. Fill it with Solid color white.





It should look like this.








And name Layer to "Circle".





6. Apply Layer Style >> Inner Shadow.






7. Grab your Pen Tool and it should be set to Path (not Shape).





And start make like shown below:





Right click with your Pen Tool "ON" to make Selection and set its Feather Radius to 0px.





It should look like this:




8. Now Fill it with Solid Black.






It should look like this:





9. Create Selection  as shown below >> Ctrl + Shift + I to Inverse Selection.







Fill the Inverted Selection with Black using Paint Bucket Tool (shown below).




Hide/Disable Background to preview:
It should look like this.
Rename Layer to "Black_Overlay".




10. Apply Gradient Style



It should look like this:





We're almost done! ^_^



10. Add newLayer and name it to "DOT".

>>Grab you Elliptical Marquee Tool again to create two small circles (be sure they are of the same size) and fill it with respective colors as shown below:





11. Grab again you Elliptical Tool create Circle as show below and fill it with Gradient (look at Gradient setting below).




12. Rename Gradient Fill Layer to "Overlay"
Set its Opacity to 51%.




It should look like this:





13. Select these Layers and Merge (Ctrl + E).



>>After Merged:



14. Unhide/Enable Background >> Apply Layer Style >> Outer Glow (with this settings).
You can choose any color you want...






15. And here's our Final Result.
